Consignment Policy
We are happy to accept items by a Drop and Run service on the posted Thursday, Friday & Saturdays ONLY! We allow no more than 30 items per drop off. We post the Drop Off calendar in store and on Facebook, Instagram and our website. You are welcome to call the store to verify we are currently accepting items. Simply drop off your items during business hours (10-5) on a drop off day and run. Within a two-three week period Narlie’s will review each of your items, choose which items to consign and donate the ones we are unable to consign. We have guidelines written out for you, that we use when going through your items. The consignor will not be notified of which items were not accepted and then donated. We do not return items we do not accept. All items we were able to consign will be listed on your consignor account.
All items will be for sale for a total period of 90 days. All items are subject to markdowns due to sales and specials or defects found after an item is on the floor at the discretion of the owner. Once your items have been out on the floor for approximately 60-70 days, the price will be reduced by 50%. After 90 days on the floor all items become property of Narlie’s Upscale Consignment Boutique. Items will then be donated to a variety of local non- profit charities. We do not return unsold items.
Narlie’s will determine the pricing of all items. We generally price our items at 70% off of the original retail price. We accept women’s, men's and children’s clothing, accessories such as purses, jewelry and scarves. We also accept household decorative items and some vintage items. We do not accept wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, prom gowns or mens suits. No undergarments will be accepted.
All items accepted must arrive in ready-to-sell condition, must be no more than 3 years old and in current style. All items must be freshly laundered, free of all pet hair, mothball smells, and from a smoke-free environment. Items must also have no stains, tears, holes, missing buttons or broken zippers. All shoes accepted must be in excellent condition. Item defects are sometimes found at a later date (i.e. after they are on the racks or while steaming). These items will be donated with no notice given. Narlie’s will charge a $5 fee, to be deducted from your account, if we are unable to accept 75% or more of your items due to guidelines not being followed OR if you bring more than 30 items at one time.

Spring and Summer Clothing: February through July
Fall and Winter Clothing: August through February
Consignors will receive 40% of the final selling price. Consignment checks will be issued at the beginning of the month for items sold the previous month. Checks are available for pick up in-store after the 5th of each month. Please have a valid ID when picking up your check. Checks that are not picked up within 6 months of issuing will become Narlie’s property (Per our bank's policy) Checks will only be issued for amounts over $25.00. It is the responsibility of the consignor to collect any money under $25.00 when you no longer have any active items left on the floor. There is a $1.00 processing fee for all checks. After one year of inactivity on your account with an accrued amount of less than $25.00, the credit will become Narlie’s property. No notice will be sent. Consignors are welcome to apply any credit on their accounts to purchases made within the store.
Narlie’s will work diligently to care for all your consignment items. However we are not responsible for loss by theft, fire, water or any other damage. Items that are brought in are at the consignor’s risk.
We now offer online access to your account! All you must do is provide us with your email address. Either write it on your drop off form or you can give us a call and ask to be sent access to your account. This includes an itemized list of your consigned items and account balance. This is a free service offered by Narlie’s.
